# What internet connection speed will I need to use Embodied Labs?
## Whether you are consistently using one training room or traveling to multiple different training locations, using the fully immersive VR or web immersive versions of Embodied Labs, a reliable internet connection will be needed.
#### **Embodied Labs immersive experiences are delivered using an internet connection. To ensure you have an effective experience, we require a 40 Mbps download speed connection.**
#### **For that reason, it's important to review the places you'll be delivering training and the internet connectivity available.**
#### 1. Where will you train?
Our customers sometimes train or teach in their own offices or classrooms; other times they train in community, partner, or conference spaces. It's important to review and pre-plan for all the locations where you'll be training, the type of internet connectivity available at those locations, and whether you will be permitted to use it.
#### 2. Will my internet connection at each facility meet requirements and support an effective session?
- We recommend asking for details on the internet connections at all sites or spaces you plan to train in before you go, or even directly speed testing the internet connection yourself.

- In cases where internet connectivity is either less than the 40 Mbps requirement, or is not available, a mobile hotspot can be an effective solution.
#### 3. How will my mobile hotspot perform?
- Mobile hotspots can increase the likelihood of you having a reliable and strong enough internet connection. However, they do perform differently in different locations, because they still use cellular networks to provide your internet connectivity.
- If you can, test your hotspot's performance in your planned training locations to ensure it meets requirements, before you need it.
- When choosing a mobile hotspot, we suggest reviewing the cell coverage by different companies in your area to help you decide, as well as looking for hotspot reviews online before making a final decision.
#### How else can I ensure that my Embodied Labs experience will be the smoothest possible?
- With Embodied Labs 4.0, you're now able to pre-download labs to your PC so that they always play in full quality. This feature is useful for those who find themselves in a location with slow internet, this way you're not having to worry about streaming and buffering the experiences.
PLEASE NOTE: Embodied Labs still always requires an internet connection, but this pre-download solution will allow the labs to play in full quality without the worry of streaming.
